A native of Littleton, Curtis began his playing career with the Littleton Hockey Association, competing on top teams there until he moved on to Junior hockey in 2000. After playing for teams in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Montana, Curtis became the face of the Metro State College of Denver hockey program, serving as captain for four years as a player and also serving on the board. After graduating in 2007, Curtis served as head coach for two years before stepping back into an assistant role in 2009, so that he could commit his time to the U-13 Thunderbirds (2009-2010). Curtis served as U-14 Thunderbirds Assistant Coach for the past two seasons (2010-2011 & 2011-2012). Curtis looks forward to working with the U-14 Thunderbirds this coming season as Assistant Coach.

Coach Landow is highly sought after for his ability to analyze and correct
biomechanics. His goal is to maximize human performance, while decreasing
the likelihood of injury. He has trained thousands of athletes of all ages and
abilities, including over 500 professional athletes in the NFL, NHL, MLB, UFC,
WNBA and Olympic medalists. In the summer of 2012 he served as a Strength and
Conditioning coach on the 16th Team Carwin. One of Coach Landow’s main goals is
developing athleticism while carefully planning programming and periodization (long term plan)
as it fits to the individual to peak on the night of the fight. He currently works with approximately
30 MMA athletes. Some of his past/present athletes include Brendan Scahub,
Shane Carwin, Nate Marquardt, Cat Zingano, and Donald Cerrone. He works with
Pan Am and Worlds Jiu-Jitsu Champions as well.
Coach Landow served as the Strength and Speed coach during the NFL
lockout. These training sessions included over 30 players from the Denver
Broncos, as well as, 45 players from other NFL teams. Coach Landow has worked
with over 30 NFL All-Pro’s and over 20 first round draft selections in the NFL.
Coach Landow’s passion is assisting athletes to perform at their peak level on the
competition field.
He has presented on the National and International level in the
performance field, and serves as a consultant for professional and collegiate
teams across the country. Coach Landow has developed the ACL prevention
program and ACL return to sport protocols for the world renowned Steadman
Hawkins Clinic in Denver, Colorado. His recent accomplishments include the
publication of “My Offseason with the Denver Broncos: Building a championship
team while nobody is watching.”
